Our purpose

Bechkwin Community Cycling Club (BCCC) company (registered number 10631277) is a community interest company.
It has been created for families with children up to the age of 5 years old.
The club aims to help to tackle:

  • loneliness
  • social isolation
  • help with integration in the community

Our cycling activities inspire an active lifestyle which helps to promote physical health and mental health well-being.

What we do

The club runs balance-ability sessions, preparing and giving young children confidence on their journey of becoming independent and careful cyclists.

We run information classes during cold months and rainy days:

  • sharing ideas on how to care for your little ones
  • sessions with professionals for experts advice
  • first aid classes to help parents coping in an emergency

We welcome mums, dads, grandparents or anyone looking after a child or children up to the age of 5 years old.

Our Sessions

Our sessions are either self-referral or on prescription. We offer one to one and group sessions.

  • One to one sessions – are designed to give you full attention and support if you are new to the area, for self confidence or any support you might require.
  • Group sessions – will have up to 5 families on each session to encourage participants to interact with one another and making new friends or simply networking.

Our 3 hours sessions offer the following:

  • 1 hr cycling
  • 1 hr sit, chat, snack and drink
  • 45 minutes balance-ability

The first 15 minutes of each session above is for introduction and getting ready for the session.

We would like people from all backgrounds to take part in our activities.

Session fees

Our cycling sessions are:
● £5 per family
● £8 one to one.
This money covers expenses and to sustain the running of the club.
Please speak with us if money is an issue!
